Joining Opex from AppSmart, where he served as Vice President of Sales, Managing Partners, Friedberg brings 20+ years of technology and channel sales leadership, having held a succession of channel management and sales roles with Nuvox (acquired by Windstream), Green Cloud Technologies and Converged Network Services Group (CNSG), which was acquired by AppSmart. In his role as Opex’s CSO, Friedberg will leverage his strong track record for success and strategic growth to optimize and execute on the Opex Master Distributor relationship, and develop new opportunities for Opex and its clients, by mapping KPI’s and resources to improved business processes. He will also oversee provider relations and develop strategies for creating opportunity to strengthen provider relationships through KPI’s, marketing and enablement.

Hester brings nearly two decades of experience in managing enterprise and commercial accounts as well as leading commercial sales teams, to Opex. Most recently, he served as Regional Sales Leader at Cisco where he led a large commercial sales team in delivering consistent year-over-year growth including $150MM product, software and service sales. He is enthusiastic about technology, believes that digital transformation can be a key differentiator, and that the alignment of technology and business objectives can drive new and improved business outcomes for clients and partners. As CRO for Opex, Hester will lead the managing partner sales team in its continued growth, evaluation of new markets, and in improving the sales process and overall client engagement, experience and support.
